Review of The Raid 2 (2014) by Dan G — 22 Jul 2014
While not as streamlined as its precursor, Evans still directs the hell out of this very strong sequel. Though the plot is a bit weighted by gangster-politics, the overall experience is a bit like Nicolas Winding Refn directing a mashup of "The Departed" and pretty much everything you loved from "The Raid: Redemption.
