Wow, now this movie fixed everything I had problems with from the first film. The two dimensional characters from the first film are gone, replaced with an epic crime story and real character development.
The martial arts scenes are superior and outrageously fun. The overuse of CGI blood and gore is gone. This is a superior sequel and one of the best martial arts films I have seen in years.
