Review of The Rage in Placid Lake (2003) by Paul C — 28 Dec 2009
This is one of those movies you can relate too. If you can't, you will still enjoy it. I will admit that the film is not perfect. It has many parts that really didn't need to be in it. But I can't help not loving this movie.
The film is about a boy played by Ben Lee. He grows up being different. Because of this he does not fit into his school. So he is always getting beaten up. He spends most of the movie just trying to figure out who he is.
He even tries to become what he thinks is "normal" in his town. The film has the message you hear a lot; just be yourself. The film has a great use of dialog throughout. Between Ben Lee and Rose Byrne, you really get to hear some great lines and phrases.
That is what makes the movie so interesting to watch. You just love hearing the dialog. Plus Ben Lee was just great as his character and also fun to watch. All the characters in the film had great personalities to make the film entertaining.
This is a fun movie to watch.
