Review of The Quiet Man (1952) by Dr. A — 12 Mar 2008
It's dated... but it's also a good reference into the mind set of 1952, this meaning that audiences where amused and entertained by such cliches. Jam packed with classic scenes. Saw it at the Orpheum in Los Angeles surrounded by people as old as The Duke would've been today.
.. the chemistry between screen an audience was more amusing than anything else.
