Review of The Quiet Man (1952) by Michael H — 19 Mar 2008
In a plethora of great collaborations between John Ford and John Wayne, this ranks right up there with "The Searchers" as one of the best. Beautifully filmed in Ireland and featuring a great cast (not just Wayne and Maureen O'Hara but the usual staple of Ford players), this is just a pure delight of a movie.
A tradition on St. Patrick's Day right along with eating corned beef and cabbage.
