Review of The Quiet Man (1952) by Adrian B — 01 Aug 2010
I have been running into a streak of fine films lately and this may be the best in the past couple of weeks. The chemistry between Maureen O'hara and John Wayne is some of the strongest from any film from the 1950's.
The scenery within the film is beautiful, and by the end, this film will put a huge smile on your face. As well, I have not smiled this way since watching An American in Paris, released the previous year.
What a beautiful film.
