Review of The Quiet (2005) by Jason B — 04 Aug 2008
The cruelty of Cuthbert in this one is intruiging, as she projects her shame into hatred on her adopted sister. The victimizer roles are interesting too after what happens to dear old daddy. This movie uses compelling sequences of sound and secrets and the ending was actually a solid payoff.
I was expecting much much much worse. Solid narraration, that being said, a wrong movie I wouldn't feel right about watching again.
