Review of The Queen of Versailles (2012) by Scott R — 18 Jun 2013
Obsessed with this movie. So much has been said about the 1% in the United States and this movie just goes to show no matter how untouchable we think we are, we are all affected by bad choices.
As arrogant and egotistical as the Siegals start out, you can't help but fall in love with Jacqueline. Much has been said about her style sense online. While other's focus on her materialism, it was obvious to me that behind the leopard prints, she is truly a great mother to her children (who more often than not appear soulless during the film).
While I may not agree with their choices, my heart went out to them. Everyone has suffered loss during the economic crisis and no one likes to have their comfort and safety not guaranteed. This movie is a must watch!
