Review of The Queen of Versailles (2012) by J G — 23 Dec 2012
A much more compelling docudrama/reality commentary akin to the Kardashians where a time share tycoon, at the top of his game, takes a major hit during the economic collapse of 2008 and watching his world collapse and documenting all of the things they have to cut back on in order to survive.
What makes it so compelling is the addition of the wife who was a very accomplished women before entering the world of modelling and becoming married to the tycoon, and having to readjust and how she seemingly has forgotten as to how the other side lives.
Very solid and telling.
