Review of The Queen (2006) by Lee Anne W — 10 Aug 2009
Outstanding movie about the Royal Family's response to the death of Princess Diana. Even better since I'd watched a Buckingham Palace documentary within the past year, and everything in this movie looked very accurate.
Costumes and makeup are spot on, even if the actors don't resemble their real-life counterparts exactly (James Cromwell as Prince Phillip; the guy who plays Prince Charles). Michael Sheen is great, as always.
It made me want to tromp around Balmoral with the Queen and her dogs.
