Review of The Queen (2006) by Laura P — 18 Aug 2010
Although I feel the title is a bit of a misnomer as it's more about the death of Princess Diana and how it was handled by the government than it is about the life of the Queen, I was really enthralled. I would agree to descriptions that it is a "mildly engaging drama" and really a fairly accurate documentary. Casting was amazing, and I would certainly watch it again.
Anyone who is interested in the purpose for the rating, if they would have left off a few f-words spoken by the wife of the Prime Minister, it would easily have been PG.
I must add, on another note, though, that my husband would have been bored to tears and most certainly would have fallen asleep. :oP.
