Praise be to the cast for their uniformly excellent performances and praise be to Frears for this wonderfully respectful telling of a moment in British history that resonates with all. Perfect in tone, dignified in its telling, richly rewarding for its audience.
Frears has crafted a perfect little deconstruction of the rare moment British royalty actually felt the pain of it's country.
