My first Helen Mirren movie and she worked up a little magic. I mean was it magical or what?? She truly elevated acting to the levels of witchcraft, sets a new benchmark for acting. Superb direction and screenplay.
I don't have enough words, I understan why she got 5 min long standing ovation at Venice Festival or why Meryl Streep Called her acting god!!! I've observed, some people, who doesn't like history or not familiar with British monarchy and politics might find not engaging.
So do some learning before you watch, if you are one of them.
