Review of The Queen (2006) by Jon C — 05 Feb 2012
Even for thoose who are not admirers to British royal family, and 10 years after Dianas death, this movie is worth watching. Some say where is the point of this movie. It's true that we do not get any new facts, and the movie have nothing particular to show, which could not be seen on the internet or in the newspapers.
But what this movie does perfectly is describing each character (personality) of main Royal family members in such delicate way, combined with great act of actors and with some original footage from that time, that this movie wakes up compassion and is pleasure to watch.
Film is crafted traditionaly, with high level of perfection, where only one cut was a little odd (speaking as an editor).
