Review of The Queen (2006) by Marian D — 22 Oct 2012
Queen Elisabeth II and Tony Blair in the aftermath of princess Diana's death. While on the peak of his popularity, Tony Blair gets publicly emotional about people's princess, Elisabeth and the Royal family go hunting and do not show up in the Buckingham palace only after hysteric cries from the tabloids and Tony Blair recommendation persuades them.
Time has changed and the virtues of staying calm and noble are no longer honoured as they did during WWII. Or do they?
