Review of The Queen (2006) by Jeffrey M — 19 Feb 2013
One of those rare films that depicts the lives of extraordinary figures to a t. The Queen brilliantly displays a harsh period of one of the most captivating women of a generation, and Helen Mirren, of course, triumphs with awe as Her Majesty.
The immense and frustrating sense of isolation the royals, and the world, experienced at the time of Diana's death provides an immersing experience sometimes painful to relive, but worth every minute of the tremendous film, The Queen.
