Review of The Queen (2006) by Tuukka P — 26 Aug 2009
The aftermath of the death of Princess Diana of Wales from the perspective of the Queen and the newly elected Prime minister Tony Blair. Helen Mirren and Michael Sheen give top notch performances but overall I think you should be a Brit to fully understand this film.
To us "outsiders" this feels a bit like a tv-movie-of-the-week with a bit too much sentimentality.
