Review of The Queen (2006) by Anton R — 04 Aug 2009
Surprisingly interesting story about the Royal Family's response to Diana's death and Tony Blair's handling of the PR crisis. Mirren is wonderful as always - you forget you're not actually watching the queen of England via webcam.
The rest of the cast is good - even Cromwell as Phillip is believable even tho you've seen him in every third TV show and movie to come down the pike. Don't know how accurate it really was but the portrayal of the inner clique of Blair's administration was strikingly different from how I picture the White House functioning.
