Review of The Queen (2006) by Terror A — 10 May 2010
An excellent film that follows Queen Elizabeth II (as well the rest of the royal family) during the week after Princess Diana's death and her realtionship with newly elected prime minister Tony Blair.
Helen gives a superb performance that is just simply flawless in everyway. She WILL win the Oscar for sure believe me. Michael Sheen is also really great Blair, who makes him very likeable. Mirren and Sheen's scenes Pretty much the entire supporting cast are great.
The direction is nicely done and the script is extremely well-written. An very interesting behind the scenes look on the royal family if there is one.
