Subtle, witty, and realistic, 'The Queen' is one of those obviously 'Oscar' movies that I truly enjoyed. Helen Mirren majestically and proudly portrays a queen whose very character is threatened, while Michael Sheen eagerly exudes the confidence and youth of a fresh politician. The humanity displayed of such people in power proves to be refreshing.
Long live 'The Queen.'.
