Michael Sheen and Helen McCrory among many great performances stand out as the best but no one can beat the fantastic portrayal of the queen herself given to us by the great Helen Mirren. It must be such a hell to portray someone everyone knows but she pulls it of with class, wit and dry intelligence aided by the fantastic script by Peter Morgan, clever directing solutions by Stephen Frears and great music Alexandre Desplat.
All in all 'The Queen' is the film I hope generations will enjoy as much as I did.
