Review of The Purge: Election Year (2016) by Rob B — 28 Aug 2016
America putting it's political faith in rich, exploitative, cartoon nazi blowhards doesn't seem so far fetched this time around, does it?
Not as good as Anarchy but better than the first, Frank Grillo continues to be the greatest Punisher that never was.
The Christian/murder imagery at the end is particularly visually and thematically arresting and "goodnight blue cheese!" is the new "sweet Christmas!".
