Review of The Purge: Election Year (2016) by Farah R — 11 Nov 2016
This third addition to The Purge series hardly adds anything new to the original concept of gory bloodshed and fight for survival, but its election theme is timely and somehow interesting. Not only were there subtle hints about the corruption of politics, there were stories of how they affect everyone from a senator to an ordinary citizen.
I personally believe this movie is the best and has the most coherent plot compared to the others.
