Review of The Purge: Election Year (2016) by C.j. H — 03 Jul 2016
The Purge: Election Year once again misses the opportunity to create a good movie with it's honestly fantastic premise, but that doesn't mean it fails at being entertaining. There are some funny dark humor moments throughout, scattered in sub-par acting and mediocre dialogue.
There is also some grotesque action that is awesomely brutal. The series once again get's closer to fully realizing this cool alternate timeline by introducing a resistance and the founding fathers religious group, hopefully paving the way for a better sequel.
