Review of The Purge: Election Year (2016) by Silvestre S — 01 Jan 2017
Not as thrilling as Anarchy, but the story and characters kept me sucked in for the entire film. The election storyline and political themes couldn't be more appropriate with our current election and the way it's going, found it to be the best part about the movie.
The acting all around is good and the frightening characters are frightening, but I just feel a little numb to the horror in the world and nothing is truly surprising anymore. Still a worthy successor.
