Review of The Purge: Anarchy (2014) by Sonny V — 06 Sep 2014

I've literally got back from watching the purge: anarchy and I can tell you it was not what I expected at all.

I mean considering the first one, I went in there with low expectations and was expecting to find myself wondering why I spent money to see this? when I was leaving the cinema (something I did after seeing the first one).

But I can honestly say, I was pleasantly surprised!

This is completely different from the first one [with the exception of the plot of course]. .

This really explores the purge for what it is, rather than just what happened in one house. It shows you all different purgers, which all had different reasons and motives.

This whole storyline was well thought out and really good. .

The whole cast and characters were all awesome! And it literally confused me (in a good way) and made me actually feel emotion for the characters.I'd love to go on and on but I'll end up writing the whole story and spoiling it and I'm not gonna do that to a film that was so good!

If you couldn't tell from above, I absolutely loved the film.

I am so glad I followed my instincts and just saw the film, because it was a great decision! Seriously, if you haven't seen it, go see it! Even if you have doubts, just see the film! It makes up for the first one.
