A huge difference from the first a lot better. The story can be on going the horror action and kill scenes are a lot more in depth in this sequel to the first this film expands the idea of the purge a lot better than the first ever will hopefully they keep getting better and smarter the way this film did a much needed improvement definitely a good watch of 2014.
