Review of The Purge: Anarchy (2014) by Spencer K — 12 Jul 2015

I want expecting much from this as I didn't love the first film, but this one was surprisingly way better than the first Purge film. this was dark, gritty, bloody, violent, ambitious, and often very tense movie that I had a great time with.

they expanded more on the premise of this whole Purge thing, which was a huge benefit for this movie, because I felt like the first one never really explored it more than just being stuck in one house, but this one they took it to the streets on Purge night and showed us some more of what can go on.

an entertaining, fun, grisly, very dark R rated film that I enjoyed quite a bit.
