An occasionally fun, but often bleak, look at a horrific future where literally anything goes for a 12-hour period - "the Purge". It's basically a survival story, with four useless people (the main stars) hitching their chances to a Mad Max-ish lone ranger.
It's not so much a horror film, as a "why would anyone do this?" look at human instinct. Nothing too innovative happens, but it's not terrible.
