Review of The Purge (2013) by Oscar David H — 22 May 2014
I'm not a horror movie person. But I watched this movie simply because of the fact of the 'for 12 hours everything's legal' plot. It had so much potential, and the only reason I watched it was because of this.
But I was really disappointed, because the the whole movie everyone was in a house hinding and looking for the homeless guy, so the great plot idea wasn't really used. It was kinda boring to, and wasnt really scary, but that didn't bother we.
But it wasn't to exciting, the potential of the plot wasn't used, and it wasn't scary either. I also hated how it ended. It somehow managed to screw up the ending twice, which is a new low.
The ending could have ended a great way, but instead manged to screw it up. But dispite all this negativity, the movie somehow wasn't that bad.
