The problem with The Purge is that it's too preachy. The premise is great, but the brainwashed, cult-like mentality of the country seems so far-fetched for a story set less than a decade away. It has some intense moments, though, and it sparked some interesting conversations.
I'm glad I saw it, but I'll probably never watch it again.
