Review of The Purge (2013) by Nicholas R — 16 Jul 2014
It may not be a perfect movie, but I really enjoyed it and it was a blast to see in the theater. The premise is very creative, the action is very tense, and Ethan Hawke gives a great performance. Some may look at this as a wasted opportunity, but I look at it as a setup.
It got me into this world and I look forward to coming back to it in the sequel!
