The Purge had so much potential, good actors, frightful moments along with good background music, yet it still fails in its plot and storyline. If you are more of a gory and bloody movie lover, than Purge is not what you are looking for.
The film also moves too rapidly and unrealistically. Lastly, it's far too predictable. I highly suggest renting instead of purchasing if you wish to see this movie.
