Review of The Purge (2013) by Dangerous F — 26 Sep 2015
I'd say that this movie wasn't TERRIBLE, but it did have many cliches. I liked the idea of the purge, and the reasoning behind it, but I wish they focused some more on that element. I noticed that they talked about this more in the second movie though.
The second movie is a lot worse than this one in my opinion. Also, this may be only my opinion, but I hated every single character in this movie except for the wife, and that was only because she was a very small side character that didn't do anything for the plot.
Also, if strangers came to my house asking for someone that I took in, and threatened to kill me if I didn't, I wouldn't think about it for a second. I would shoot the man I took in in the shins and then give him to the strangers.
Well good day fine chaps, that was what I thought about this movie.
