The Puffy Chair is a love it or hate it film. So simply put, just ask yourself a few questions before you queue this, and you might save yourself from having to tell everyone how much you hate this;.
Do you like movies that are plot oriented?
Do you enjoy character studies?
Do you enjoy John Cassavetes films?
This is a very minimalist movie, but I love that kind of thing. I like movies where you are more engaged by what is being said, and how it is being said, as well as body language. This movie just oozes reality. And understandably some folks don't like their movies to "feel" real. So if you are that person, skip this film, you'll probably hate it.
On the other hand, if you like all the things I mentioned, just rent this right away. You'll love what the Duplass brothers are cooking up!
