Review of The Public Enemy (1931) by Nick K — 01 Feb 2009
I thought that the plot was typical of a gangster movie, but given that it was made fairly early, I guess you could say it pioneered the genere. However, the editing was a bit odd. Yes, I know that's how they used to do it back then, but still it seems strange the way scenes jump form one to the next.
