The Proposition is a great movie, but be prepared to bring your anti-depressant medication. Simply put this Australia western is gruesome and bleak. Pay attention to the scenery as the location this title was filmed in is perfect for the story being told. This is one nasty area, which compares to our story which isn't for the faint of heart.
Bottom Line is that the film has to be really well made to tell such a bleak story yet still make me like this film.
