Review of The Proposition (2005) by Mark M — 18 Nov 2009
A great western that captures the hardships of life in the Outback in the late 1800's. I thought this was well written and thought out. I really though that the ending came to a satisfying and bloody conclusion that was perfect for a film like this.
They obviously shot it in Australia because you can even see all the flies everywhere. I was just there and I'm telling you flies are king. This is a good film that is more thought provoking than most westerns and better than most westerns, too bad it feels like a dying genre.
