Review of The Proposition (2005) by Ippei K — 11 Jan 2011
The unfortunate thing about this is that it's slow and boring early on. Once you get over that hump, it's a very engaging story. Kind of mixes elements of movies that have come and gone. The performances are good, but felt that Ray Winstone was miscast and David Wenham talked annoyingly.
The film does have a perfect melancholy ending though.
