Burning portrayl of the brutal world of 19th century outback Australia. As far from Baz Lurman as you can get - its entrails and decapitations in place of kangaroos and fair dinkums. Guy Pearce and Danny Huston are stunning as the charismatic outlaw brothers, but the real star of course is the endless, beautiful outback echoed in Nick Caves supernatural soundtrack.
