I will shamefully admit that I enjoyed this cliche driven by the number rom-com. Bullock and Reynolds are naturally awkward and at the same time perfect for each other. The chemistry between the two is one of the best I have seen from this genre.
The Proposal offers nothing original but as long as the formula is working it doesn't need to be original.
