Review of The Prophecy (1995) by Aaron V — 10 Nov 2007
The plot on paper is great (An epic war in Heaven among angels), but on film, it's only executed half as great. Walken gives one of his best performances and Viggo Mortensen as the devil is also a treat, but that's where the good cast ends.
Everyone else, including the main human male and female protagonists are really discardable. Despite it not being as good as it could have been, this movie is still worth seeing just because Walken is spot on and has some great scenes and lines.
