Review of The Prophecy (1995) by Jack G — 25 Apr 2009
Two words: Christopher Walken and Viggo Mortensen.... that's five, shit, I mean two names. But yeah, they're awesome, and in fact put this otherwise solid but standard genre piece up several notches.
You'll want to rewatch just so you can remember some of Walken's quotes like "Study Math, kids" and Mortensen's "Mother's feces". And considering it's from the guy that did Higlander it's further impressive - by that I mean this is actually better and holds up more than that super-duper 80s thing with Connery.
