The story isn't especially captivating. Two guys competing for a promotion in a grocery chain, while each dealing with their own set of life problems. Not terribly different from, say, Employee of the Month.
Sure this is better than that other Dane Cook/Jessica Simpson garbage, but where it gets points in visual style, acting, and pacing, it loses funny points. And lets face it, you need lots of funny points to keep an audience interested in watching a movie about people like this.
