Review of The Promotion (2008) by Cade H — 23 Feb 2010
I think the sole reason for this movie was so that Sean William Scott and John C Reilly could both show that they can play other parts besides the crazy, funny idiot in movies. They both did a decent job of that and showed that they do have a little something else to offer in the movie world.
The comedy was spotty but the plot was intriguing and kept me interested to find out who was going to get the job/promotion. It was a nice break from the normal work place comedy but left a lot to be desired.
