Review of The Promise (2017) by Haig H — 21 Apr 2017
Just saw The Promise and I felt that the film did an convincing job visually immersing the audience in the period and geography. I thought the character stories were well thought out and the performances by Isaac, Le Bon and Bale brought it all together in a way where you can't help but become attached to them.
I would be absolutely shocked if this film didn't receive at least one nomination this year. Bravo!
