This film was beautiful. It was a love story that takes place during the Armenian genocide. The Armenian genocide took place in 1915 as the Ottoman Empire (turkey) attempted to wipe out Armenia as a whole (its neighboring country) .
During this hard time, mikael (main character) falls in love while he is faced with personal losses , war, all while attempting to survive with hopes of eventually being with the woman he loves. Well done!
