Review of The Promise (2017) by Jd A — 22 Apr 2017
I went in to the theatre expecting a costume piece. I came out emotionally affected by the tragedy of Genocide and the stirring willingness of the oppressed to fight back and prevail. The script worked together many historic facts into a single weave.
Highly recommended. Bonus points: by seeing it you will drive the tyrant of Turkey Erdogan nuts.
