The Promise is a beautiful love story that simutaneaously depicts the horror experienced by the Armenians when over 1.5 million were massacred at the hands of the Ottoman Turks. Millions of others were torn from their families, raped and displaced to surrounding countries.
Highly recommend seeing this masterpiece!
