Review of The Promise (2017) by Gary A — 24 Apr 2017
A factual portrayal of the events that took place during the Armenian Genocide that also affected the Greek and Assyrian populations. A beautiful story about a love triangle and family that showed how the Armenians survived and flourished despite their heavy losses.
The ending shows one of thousands of successful outcomes despite the tragic events. Like the Jews, Armenians survived and made great contributions to mankind. A must see for those whose families were affected and others who wish to see a great film and learn about the history of the Armenians.
Worth your time.
